COUNTDOWN: Top 5 October countdown

Ok, ummm...this is the top 5 music countdown for the month of October. With aid from friends, I came up with the best Nigerian gospel songs  we heard in the month of October. We love this songs sooo much. You can tell me if you agree with the countdown by leaving a comment. See the countdown after the cut...

5. OJAY - DANSAKIRE
Ojay is currently a Covenant University student. He recently dropped his mixtape 'FORGIVEN' which has gained acceptance from his audience. The song talks about the majesty of God and how undeserving we are of His love but he gave it us anyways. The song features 4runner and Abrizzle. It is a very cool song, great vocals and will make us wanna dance.

4. 4RUNNER - INFILTRATION
When I heard this song, I was like "WOW...this cannot be 4runner". He surprised us because it was kinda outta his comfort zone I guess since I know him to be gentle *famzing...lol. The song talks about how unconscious we are to things that matter and encourages us to be who we are not pretentious. It was really nice, deep content and dope beat. Whenever I play the song, friends are like "Is that DaTruth?" No kidding... He sha tried in the song dou. And yeah, he is also currently a student of Covenant University. Thumbs up 4runner!

3. GAISE - AWA O TUSH
The only dope gospel yoruba rapper i know, it's Gaise Baba. I love this song from my heart. It just makes plenty sense. Gaise is such a creative fellow, his songs are original and have a great style of delivery. He has never let me down. The song talks about been Unashamed. And cannot get it wrong because "its still a heavenly something".

2. TIV - WHAT'S THE MATTER
TIV have made it a point of duty that we dance whenever any of their songs is played. And they really standing by that code because they have given us another thrill with this song. The song is awesome mahn...The video is just something else, its been nominated for the best use of choreography in the 2013 NMVA.You have got to listen to this sick one from the one and only TIV. I I I Komole>>>What is the matter.

Drum rolls for our number one song>>>>

1. HENRISOUL- BLOW MY MIND
He absolutely blew my mind away with this song. This song deserves all the hypes it is getting. The song is a mixture techo and fuji. It was produced by our 'Mr Witty' who was most definitely witty about this one. I have played this song more than a thousand times (not exaggerating) but I am not tired of the song. Henrisoul now decided to blow away the little fragment of our minds left with the video directed by Clarence Peters. The song was nominated for several awards including BEFFTA UK and NMVA. The video is classy. The video is...I can't talk sef. Just go get it.

That's the top 5 countdown for October. If you have suggestions on the songs that should be featured in the November edition, you could leave a comment or email me: damilo.mz@gmail.com
